UPDATE: The scholarship application deadline has been extended to July 17, 2020. Contact us to request an application.
With gratitude to kind benefactors, BHSC is pleased to offer the 2020-21 BHSC Scholarship Award to a family or families who are experiencing economic set-backs or hardship as a result of COVID-19 and the economic decline or who otherwise would not be able to afford to enroll in the BHSC classes they’d like their students to take.
Who Can Apply?
The Bluebonnet community is proud to include families from a wide variety of places of origin, walks of life, and cultural backgrounds. We warmly welcome scholarship applicants who share the BHSC vision, who affirm BHSC Creed & Principles, and who agree to fulfill the parent/guardian responsibilities. To be eligible for the scholarship award, the applicant must complete a brief scholarship application, submit both parts of the BHSC enrollment application by July 17, participate in the admissions family interview by July 24, and submit enrollment paperwork and registration fees by July 31. The scholarship will be awarded primarily based on financial need. BHSC directors and their families as well as current 2020-21 BHSC employees and their immediate family members are ineligible to apply.
How & When to Apply
Contact us to request a scholarship application, and return the completed application by July 17. Be sure to also complete the BHSC enrollment application by then as well if you have not already applied for fall admission.
Award Process
To maintain a fair review process, all scholarship applications will be reviewed by a neutral, out-of-state party who will suggest an award decision based on established criteria. The applications and suggested award decision will then be reviewed by a second neutral party to ensure an equitable process and adherence to objective award criteria.
