Ms. Arlenne Lopez
Instructor of Mathematics & Science
After graduating from Harmony School of Science, Miss Arlenne Lopez began at the University of Houston as a dentistry major taking classes such as biology, anatomy, and mathematics. While she loves the sciences, she soon discovered her heart for teaching and switched her major to education. She has collected many creative ideas and insights through her years of professional work in early childhood education, through her time teacher shadowing at a local elementary school, and through her experience tutoring one-on-one. Helping each child progress in all areas of his or her development—academic, social, linguistic, and motor—is a challenge that she is honored to accept. Outside of school, Miss Lopez enjoys traveling with her dog Zeus, trying new restaurants, and working hard on being the Astros’ #1 fan.
