Ms. Melissa Klotz
Instructor of Studio Art
Ms. Melissa Klotz earned a Master of Fine Arts from Houston Baptist University where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art and Child Development. With ten years of experience teaching Studio Art and Art History for multiple Texas colleges and private schools, Ms. Klotz continues to enjoy teaching a variety of ages. Her paintings have been included in several exhibitions and juried shows in Texas galleries, including Rockport Center for The Arts, Williams Tower Gallery, and Archway Gallery, among others.
Ms. Klotz’s own artwork primarily consists of oil paintings of colorful landscapes. She especially enjoys creating paintings of forests, as well as imaginative illustrations. She is the author and illustrator of a delightful, colorful children’s book titled Arthur The Artist…The Journey of a Small, Brave, and Furry Mouse.
