Mrs. Robin Brady
Instructor of Art
Robin is a recent graduate of HCC with an Associates in Studio Arts. She earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas in Austin and spent 10+ years in the business world working in Sales and Marketing. She and her family spent over a decade abroad on various expat assignments living in Norway, France, and the UK. Now, after raising her two daughters and entering the ‘empty nester’ stage of life, she is embracing her love of art.
Robin initially came to Bluebonnet as a volunteer and teaching assistant with our Form 2 Art Explorations class. Currently a student of acrylic painting, Robin also enjoys watercolor, mosaics, and metal working. She is also a member of a local iconography community that meets regularly to enjoy creating Byzantine style icons.
Robin is a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church where she participates in their contemplative services and community. In her spare time, she is involved in several prayer groups. Robin volunteers weekly at Parkway Place retirement home enjoying water coloring classes with the clients. Additionally, she enjoys co-leading monthly arts and crafts workshops with clients at the Santa Maria Hostel, an addiction and recovery housing center. She delights in traveling, new adventures, and time with her family.
