Ms. Skylar Reyna
Co-Teacher of British Literature
Skylar has had a deep love of learning her whole life. Having been raised in a Charlotte Mason homeschool family, she is well-versed on the importance of being classically educated at home. She attended the Academy at Houston Christian University in high school and is now pursuing her English degree as an Honors Student at HCU. Over the past several years Skylar has thought critically about the texts that shaped the Western world, exploring how they contribute to our present-day ideologies. She has a passion for the good, true, and beautiful and loves to analyze these themes in rich literature. Ultimately, it is her goal to show the love of Christ, helping others grow in their faith, and to seek Him daily. Skylar hopes to continue pursuing a career in classical education after college.
When not studying, you can find her getting boba tea with friends, baking a tray of cookies, starting a new crochet project, watching a film with family, or cuddling up with her Border Collie, Bodhi.
