Bluebonnet Home Scholars Collaborative values its users’ privacy. This Privacy Statement will help you understand how we collect and use personal information from those who visit our website or make use of our online facilities and services and what we will and will not do with the information we collect.
Any personal information processed by Bluebonnet Home Scholars Collaborative, hereafter “BHSC,” in connection with this Privacy Policy is controlled by BHSC, which is considered the “data controller” of your personal information. Personal information means details, which identify you or could be used to identify you, such as your name and contact information. BHSC will only process your personal information where we have a legal basis to do so, namely, when you have consented to BHSC using your information for a particular purpose. Our policy is to use the information we acquire from our users when they visit our site for internal purposes only. Bluebonnet Home Scholars Collaborative does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent, or lease any of its users lists and/or names to any third parties.

This includes the use of non-personally identifying and potentially personally identifying information to track site visitor statistics and to store visitor preferences.
Certain online forms assist with the submission of personally identifying information through a site contact form and application forms. The contact form submission data—IP address, user agent, name, email address, website, and message—is submitted to a spam-checking service for the sole purpose of spam checking. The actual submission data is stored in the database of the site on which it was submitted and is emailed directly to BHSC, the owner of the form. This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, website, and message.
A donations page is offered in connection with PayPal. The actual processing of donation payments is handled by PayPal. Because payments are processed by PayPal, we recommend reviewing its privacy policy.
Visitors to the BHSC website may elect to receive email marketing communication which may be of interest from time to time. Subscription to BHSC emails is offered through MailChimp. If you have consented to marketing, you may opt out later. You have a right at any time to stop BHSC from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
BHSC operates in accordance with laws of the United States and the State of Texas.
