Mrs. Lores Glover
Instructor of Form 2 Math Club
Lores Glover earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles and holds a Teaching Credential from the state of California. While she enjoyed teaching US History, AP US History, Government, and Economics as a public school teacher for 7 years, she felt called to leave public education and entered full time women’s ministry. Lores’ passion for a Biblical worldview of history and politics led her to host a talk radio show for five years, first in Los Angeles and then here in Houston after moving to Texas.
After getting married and having children, Lores homeschooled her children and
continued teaching through the co-ops they were a part of. She has taught and tutored students in history, writing and grammar, and math. She taught 4th through 6th grade math and continues to teach US History, US and a Current Event elective at a homeschool co-op in Katy.
Lores has been married to her husband, Todd, for 18 years and has two
children—teenagers. She is blessed to be able to serve as part of the youth ministry at church, Grand Parkway Baptist Church. She loves spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and working out.
No matter what she’s teaching, Lores is passionate about helping students discover the truth of the Biblical worldview and the beauty of the invitation for all believers to be salt and light wherever God puts us.
