
Mrs. Aubrey Claussen
Director of Advancement
Aubrey Claussen holds a B.A. in Communications from Waldorf University. Prior to joining Bluebonnet Home Scholars Collaborative, she served for four and a half years as the Assistant Director of University Events, Camps, and Conferences at Houston Christian University, where she gained extensive experience in strategic planning, relationship building, and mission-focused engagement.
Having been homeschooled herself, Aubrey brings a personal understanding of and deep appreciation for the homeschool community. She is passionate about partnering with families, donors, and supporters to advance Bluebonnet’s mission and is committed to stewarding resources with integrity while cultivating meaningful partnerships that support the long-term growth of the organization. Aubrey views her work as a calling to serve others through excellence, faith, and generosity.
Additionally, Aubrey has more than two decades of dance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, contemporary, and musical theatre. She has danced on three continents, performed with a professional ballet company, and has been teaching dance since 2012. One of her favorite professional highlights was debuting as the Sugar Plum Princess in Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in 2019.
Aubrey is originally from Springfield, Missouri, where she met her husband, Louis. They have been married since 2018 and welcomed their son, Austin, in 2025. In her free time, Aubrey enjoys collecting stickers, traveling, and trying new foods.
