Mrs. Sarah Hickey
Teaching Assistant
Originally from the “big” town of Guy, TX, Mrs. Sarah Hickey began her career as a licensed massage therapist after high school before discovering her true passion for esthetics. For 14 years, she worked as a licensed aesthetician in a variety of settings, including a medical spa, a dermatology office, and most recently, a plastic surgery practice. In 2024, she chose to leave the field to pursue homeschooling with her family. She has been married to her husband for 8 years and has been homeschooling their 3 children since then. Sarah is so grateful for the way God has led them on this journey, and one of her greatest joys has been learning right alongside her children.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys camping at state parks with her family, sewing, taking nature walks, listening to good books, cooking new recipes, and having afternoon teatime with her kids.
She is excited about the opportunity to serve with Bluebonnet in a nurturing, faith-centered environment supporting teachers, building strong character, and helping to cultivate each child’s natural sense of wonder.
